Dr Rogachefsky is a hand and upper extremity surgeon who is originally from Rochester, New York. Dr. Rogachefsky went to college at the University of Rochester from 1979 to 1983 and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Biology. He attended medical school at the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School from 1983 to 1987. Dr Rogachesky did his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center from 1987-1992. He did a one year fellowship and specialized training in hand and upper extremity surgery and microsurgery at the University of South Florida/Tampa General Hospital from 1992-1993. Dr Rogachefsky returned to the University of Miami to join the faculty as an assistant and then associate professor of orthopedic surgery and hand and upper extremity surgery from 1993 to 1999. Dr Rogachefsky has been in private practice from 1999 to the present specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery and doing general orthopedic surgery. Dr. Rogachefsky is Board Certified in orthopedic surgery and hand and upper extremity surgery.
